How much sleep you need and how you should sleep is highly personal and determined by genetics. On average, an adult needs about 8h of sleep. Personally, that is what I aim for, but you should find the amount that’s right for you!
Some people are early risers, some are night owl. This is not a myth or a fad, that’s genetics. Don’t try to force it.
Also, some people have a different circadian circle than others. For example, some people need 8h of sleep every 25h, and not the classic 24. This causes them to drift a bit with the classic schedule.
